Many of us grew up in the faith of our families. For me, the Catholic mass seemed to be little more than a litany of meaningless responses and gestures that offered me, a bewildered adolescent little comfort and few answers to the barrage of questions life asked of me. It was not until my early adulthood when a life crisis brought me to my knees and to the feet of My Lord and Savior. My faith and my relationship with God flourished as I made a commitment to learn more about my faith, the Word and who exactly my Heavenly Father was to me. It became personal! As a result, my “expression of church” became so much more and now I see the fruits of my “experience of church” blossom in my children’s understanding and experience of how church should be experienced! This did not happen by being a Sunday Catholic Christian! It started for me with a hunger, a hunger I believe that men today are feeling. A hunger for more; more truth, more wisdom, more understanding about Gods word! And how to apply it to themselves, their family, work and life in general!
